About The Position
Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (06 : 30 - 19 : 00)
Description
Pre-Screen Unit - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision.
Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis.
Manager will interview
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE : 2 years - Unit accepts first time travelers
PATIENT POPULATION : Adults to Geriatrics - CVOR
REQUIRED SKILLS : ACLS, BCLS, Cardiac, Vascular, Thoracic with the ability to scrub are all hard requirements. Heart Transplant is highly preferred.
UNIT SYSTEMS : Pyxis EPIC, SBAR
Schedule Requirements
RTO : MAX 7 days
BLOCK or SELF SCHEDULING - not available
WEEKENDS : Rotation
CALL REQUIREMENTS : Yes / variable - Typically one week day / call every week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks
HOLIDAYS : If one major holiday falls in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays.
If three major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
