Description
The award-winning Wyndham Deerfield Beach Resort seeks a Front Desk Agent. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service to all guests.
As a Front Desk Agent, you'll be our guests' first point of contact. You will be responsible for checking guests in and out, handling reservations, providing information about our hotel, and responding to any customer inquiries or complaints.
You will also maintain a clean and orderly work area and answer calls and emails. If you have a passion for customer service and a positive attitude, we would love to have you join our team!
Requirements
Job Responsibilities
Greet guests and answer any questions they have about the hotel or local area
Check guests in and out of the hotel
Handle guest requests and complaints in a professional manner
Process payments for rooms and services
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, facilities, and special packages
Monitor and update reservations system
Provide concierge services, such as making restaurant reservations and providing directions
Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate departments
Prepare and distribute guest key cards
Keep the front desk area and lobby tidy and presentable
Follow security and emergency procedures
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience working in a customer service role
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues
Ability to handle cash, credit card, and room charge transactions
Knowledge of hotel operations and services
Knowledge of local area attractions
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to comprehend and follow instructions
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
