UNM Medical Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced candidate to serve as a Sr. Administrative Assistant. This opportunity is a full-time day shift opening located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Remote Position-Selected candidate must have a permanent address and live in New Mexico or be willing to relocate to New Mexico.
Minimum $38,521- Midpoint $48,172*
- Salary is determined based on years of total relevant experience.
- Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours / week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE.
Summary :
The successful candidate should be a self-starter, able to multitask and prioritize assigned work according to urgency and priority.
The successful incumbent must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and coordinate multiple duties at a time in a fast-paced working environment with changing priorities.
Critical thinking skills are a must. This role requires someone who demonstrates a high degree of professionalism, communicates efficiently, and handles sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
Minimum Job Requirements of a Senior Administrative Assistant :
High school diploma or GED with at least 5 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Verification of education and licensure will be required (if applicable) if selected for hire.
Duties and Responsibilities of a Senior Administrative Assistant :
- Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
- Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
- Knowledge of computerized information systems used in financial and / or accounting applications.
- Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
- Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles.
- Knowledge of human resources concepts, practices, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to supervise and train assigned staff.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Records maintenance skills.
- Database management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain complex calendars and schedule multiple meetings.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
