About The Position
Job Title : CT Technologist Job Specialty : CMH Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Night - 4x10 - 9 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM Guaranteed Hours : 40 Hours Experience : Minimum of one-year full-time equivalent clinical experience in Diagnostic Radiology is required.
Previous CT experience is preferred. License : Current state license as a Radiographer is required. Certifications : - ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology- Advanced certification in CT required within 18 months of hire / transfer- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required within three months of hire Must-Have : Completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program- 1-2 years of college / university coursework and / or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred Job Description : Operate computed tomography (CT) and related equipment under the direction of a radiologist- Perform CT studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols, utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures- Review images and archive them with associated patient data- Interact with imaging personnel, nursing and medical staff, patients, and visitors- Perform other duties as assigned- 3rd shift schedule, 0.
