This is a hybrid position. Only candidates located in the Tampa, FL or Charleston, SC area will be considered.
Salary range : $45-55k / year based on experience.
Summary / Objective : Responsible for addressing customer needs, whether it is through inquiry responses or proactive communication.
Accountable for customer satisfaction and building customer loyalty and retention.
Essential Duties :
- Work within our customer service platform, Gladly, to manage customer service inquiries in a quick and efficient manner via phone, chat and email for Toadfish, Bimini Bay Outfitters, and Tsunami Fishing.
- Review and makes recommendations for the improvement of the customer experience on our website and with our products
- Takes ownership of customers' issues and follows problems through to resolution
- Manages all returns, exchanges, and order issues
- Manages customer reviews on different platforms
- Educates customers on our products and helps them feel comfortable and confident in them
- Assist wholesale team in the new client onboarding process
- Work a flexible schedule (Some weekends are necessary and you will receive a comped day during the week if you work a full day on the weekend)

Work Skills and Qualifications :
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role is preferred
- Outstanding email and phone communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team to problem solve across multiple platforms and come up with an action plan about how to prevent similar issues in the future
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Willing to take direction if and when needed, but also work independently
- Understanding of Gladly, Shopify, or ShipStation is a plus!
- Experience at a start-up is a plus- must have a get-it-done attitude
