Job Title : Installer

Job Description

As an Installer, you will travel to various commercial facilities to install and assemble office furniture, including cubicles, desks, and chairs. This role requires the use of hand and power tools, and candidates must have prior experience in construction and tool handling.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to different commercial locations for furniture installations.
  • Assemble and install office furniture such as cubicles, desks, and chairs.
  • Utilize hand and power tools efficiently to complete installations.
  • Interpret and work from blueprints or installation guides.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to bring and manage basic tools required for the job.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including first and second shifts.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in carpentry and assembly.
  • Understanding of mechanical and electrical components.
  • Capability to work as a reliable team member.

    Work Environment

    This role involves working at various commercial properties, including projects with companies like Costar and Capitol One. The schedule is project-dependent, requiring flexibility for start times as early as 4 / 5 am until the job is complete. Travel may include locations like DC, Chesapeake, or out of state. You'll either meet at a warehouse on Carolina Ave or directly at the job site. Dress code includes khakis, a polo shirt, a black or brown belt, and black or brown boots. The culture emphasizes reliability, as each team member's presence is crucial to the team's success.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 / hr.
