A qualified Line Cook will possess a minimum of 1 to 2-year cooking experience in a line position and has proper food handling and cooking technique.
A culinary degree is a plus. Willingness to enthusiastically follow the Chef's recipes and vision and is well organized and driven to be the best they can be.
We are looking for culinary professionals who are interested in pursuing a long-term career in the F&B industry and want to develop a complete and comprehensive set of techniques.

- Knows how to follow recipes exactly and follows chef's instructions
- Prior experience with restaurant service, Garde Manger, Fish, Meat or Sauce stations
- Dependable, strong work ethic, detail-oriented, and is able to learn and adapt
- Must have a wide range of product knowledge, technical skills, and up to date current food trends
- Must be organized and be able to multi-task, work well under pressure, follow direction and understand sense of urgency
- Keep assigned area clean and walk-ins, reach-ins clutter-free with restaurant issued cleaning supplies. Participate in daily cleaning and related activities.
- Sociable and friendly to staff and guests.
- Must have open availability to work on different shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements :
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience cooking on the line
- Ability to read food orders in English
- Must be meticulously clean and aware of all food safety standards
- Must have CA Food Handler's License, Miami-FHC) NYC FPC is a plus
- A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team
- A desire to patiently train and develop those around you
- Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Continuous use of hands and arms. Continuous bending, reaching and twisting
- Maintains professional personal image and uniform standards
- Ability to withstand changes in temperature, occasional smoke, steam and heat and work in a confined area.
