Are you a skilled Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) looking for a fulfilling full-time position in Jupiter Island, FL? We are excited to offer a role for the 2024-2025 school year where you will provide critical interpretation services to K-12 students, supporting their communication needs in an educational setting.
Position : Sign Language Interpreter (SLI)
Location : Jupiter Island, FL
Dates : August 2024 - May 2025
Hours : Full-Time, 35+ hours per week
Caseload Details :
Population : K-12 students across various grade levels.
Responsibilities :
- Deliver ASL interpretation services in the classroom.
- Facilitate student participation in lessons and activities.
- Work closely with school staff to support and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Ensure professional standards and confidentiality are maintained.
Requirements :
- Active Florida SLI License.
- Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) score of 3.5 or higher.
- Previous experience in educational settings is preferred.
