Job Title : Invasive Cardiac Technologist (Cath Lab)
Location : Chicago, IL
Type : Travel Contract
Duration : 13 Weeks
Shift : 8-Hour Day Shift (7 AM - 3 PM), 40 hours per week
On Call : 4-5 additional weeknight call shifts depending on need
Weekend Rotation : One full weekend or two weekend shifts (two Saturdays, two Sundays, or one Saturday and one Sunday) in a 4-week block
Job Description :
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Invasive Cardiac Technologist to join a leading Cath Lab in Chicago, IL. This role requires a strong background in cardiac catheterization procedures, providing an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Scrub in for cardiac catheterization procedures
- Operate equipment such as Impella, aortic balloon pumps, and arterial lines
- Assist in monitoring patients during procedures
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure patient safety
- Provide quality patient care in a fast-paced setting
Qualifications :
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Cath scrub
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications required at the time of submission
- Proficiency with Impella, aortic balloon pumps, and arterial lines
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and onboarding in compliance with the Joint Commission
