DESCRIPTION OF POSITION / DUTIES :

All Points is seeking candidates to support the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on the new campus in Huntsville, AL.

You will support IT networks, systems, and initiatives with activities that include information systems operations, information systems development and modernization, and IT security.

The team you will join also is responsible for the development, implementation, and subsequent operations and maintenance of new applications each fiscal year.

The opera?on of existing applications and new application initiatives are critical to the success of the FBI mission. Additionally, thousands of personnel in the law enforcement, intelligence, legal, and administrative communities use these services daily to perform mission-critical work.

These applications require responsive, effective, and specialized technical expertise to limit disruption to FBI operations.

Supervise, coordinate and / or design, develop and perform additions and changes to network hardware, infrastructure server environments, and operating systems, and attached devices, including investigation, analysis, recommendation, configuration, installation, and testing of new network hardware and software.

Provide direct support in the day-to-day operations on network hardware and operating systems including the evaluation of system utilization, monitoring response time and primary support for detection and correction of operational problems.

Troubleshoot at the physical level of the network, working with network measurement hardware and software, as well as physical checking and testing of hardware devices at the logical level working with communication protocols.

Participate in planning design, technical review and implementation for new network infrastructure hardware and network operating systems for voice and data communication networks.

Perform systems management and integration functions. Exhibiting proficiency with virtualization technologies and network administration.

Maintain network infrastructure standards including network communication protocols such as TCP / IP. Provide technical consultation, training and support to IT staff as designated by the government.

Diagnose and resolve complex communication problems. Perform systems management and integration functions. Responsible for design, deployment, evaluating, testing, certification, patching, addressing interoperability issues, not only of the base storage & backup system, but for all features, components, and application dependencies.

Ensures systems are current with approved patches and assists with certification and system accreditation tasks, composes SOPs, and Quick Reference guides for users.

Provides toplevel technical expertise responsible for design and development of a client / server environment. Develops strategy of client / server system and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy.

Advises on selection of technological purchases with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.

Sets standards for the client / server relational database structure for the organization. Advises of feasibility of potential future projects to management.

SAFe 6.0 Facilitation Support (contract support PM & Agile team support)

Summary : Responsible for guidance and facilitation of SAFe Principles. Plan and manage the work, and values to uphold while promo?

ng alignment, collaboration, and delivery across large numbers of agile teams, currently aligned in two Agile Release Trains.

The first aligns teams focused on enabling operational insight by increasing data discoverability through enterprise search or query.

The second aligns teams focused on enabling the operational analysis and triage of data through visualization, enrichments, and analytics within Global Mission Analytics (GMA).

EDUCATION :

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline

• Apache Niagra Files (NiFi)

• Databricks and Lakehouse architecture
• Elas?cSearch
• AWS SQS
• Linux Admin, VMWare vSphere 6 / 7 experience, SPLUNK Server administration, Dell Server, and SAN Storage hardware experience.
• Experience with Docker, Microsoft SQL, Oracle databases, Angular, JavaScript including Ember.js, Spring Boot, Spring, in addition to a focus on cloud skillsets, specifically AWS solution architecture
• Strong Oracle database and MS SQL experience is require
• Experience as a scrum participant and software release processes
• Available to work after hours when mission requires
