- Interventional Radiology (IR) experience; 90% of the role involves IR
- Skills in scrub, circulate, telemetry
Job Description :
- Work primarily in a combo lab with responsibilities across IR, Cardiology, Vascular, and Electrophysiology.
- Assist providers during diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures.
- Responsible for scrub and circulating duties in IR / Cath Lab procedures and cardiology procedures.
- Expectation to handle urgent and emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures.
- Participate in call duties during the week and weekends with specific callback times based on procedure type.
- The team will consist of three staff members, including at least one RN.
- No floating requirement to other units.
- Patient demographic includes adults and geriatrics, often dealing with diagnoses requiring vice implants such as PPM and ICD.
- The unit is equipped with specialized equipment such as GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR / IVUS, Canon and GE Labs, and others for various advanced procedures.
- Adhere to a scheduling type per unit needs with weekend and call requirements.
- Orientation involves 40 hours with scrubs provided by the unit.
