Role Overview :
We are actively seeking dynamic and passionate Arts Teachers (Art and Dance) for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. Successful candidates will play a pivotal role in delivering top-notch instruction in both visual arts and dance, creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, and contributing significantly to the artistic growth of our students.
Responsibilities :
Develop and implement engaging and challenging lessons in visual arts and dance, aligning with the school's comprehensive arts curriculum.
Inspire an appreciation for artistic expression, creativity, and critical thinking among students.
Tailor instruction to cater to the diverse needs of students, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Employ various assessment strategies to gauge student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
Collaborate proactively with colleagues to enhance and develop instructional practices within the arts department.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, supporting their artistic growth.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Art, Dance, Arts Education, or a related field.
State certification in Secondary Arts Education.
Proficient knowledge of the arts and dance content, coupled with a genuine passion for teaching the arts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students.
Experience :
Previous teaching experience at the high school level is advantageous but not mandatory.
Familiarity with diverse teaching methodologies and the integration of technology in arts education.
