What You’ll Do :
The Regional Director leads customer relationship management efforts in the Southwest (US) region by developing, mentoring, and driving a high-powered team focused on creating and maintaining a satisfied customer base for Aerzen blower and compressor solutions.
- Creates a customer-focused culture driving growth while achieving regional business goals.
- Defines the go-to-market strategy for both Sales and Aftermarket for the region.
- Directs the day-to-day activities of the region’s staff.
- Recruits and develops team members to support all regional activities.
- Cultivates regional partnerships (reps) to drive customer and order growth.
- Leads the account management efforts with key OEM accounts in the region.
- Directs and supports end-user customer, OEM, and contractor inquiries in Industrial, Environmental, and Process Gas markets.
- Leads his / her team to effectively manage relationships with key customer accounts. Understands the landscape within each key account, the decision-makers and the decision-making process.
- Develops new markets and customers to support growth initiatives.
- Prepares, manages, and delivers regional sales projections, forecasts, strategies, and reports.
- Interacts professionally with the Aerzen USA leadership team to develop, revise, and implement process improvements with respect to the sales processes, order execution, and aftermarket and service opportunities.
- Works with the team to define and deliver training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support the company’s new product sales and aftermarket objectives.
- Monitors customer, market, and competitor activity, while providing feedback to company leadership team and other appropriate company functions.
Requirements
Education :
Bachelors’ degree required. MBA is preferred.
Experience :
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience leading high-powered teams
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in capital equipment sales or service is required
- Direct experience with rotary screw compressors and / or positive displacement blowers is a plus
- Experience with both direct-to-customer sales channel with and without representation as well as channels through EPCs, Contractors and other manufacturers
Computer Skills :
Intermediate Computer Knowledge : Able to create, use and navigate reports at an Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Job Specific Software : Basic ability to create, use and retrieve project-related information from ERP systems, Product Configurator software, CRM software (experience with Salesforce and Business Central / Navision is a plus)

- Must possess a strong sense of urgency to meet Customer commitments in a timely and "above expectations" manner
- Adept at handling conflict and finding common ground.
- Able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
