Job Title : Hospitalist (Full-Time / Part-Time) Location : San Jose, California Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hospitalist to join our healthcare team in San Jose, California.
This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, providing flexibility and a balanced work-life experience. As a Hospitalist, you will provide comprehensive inpatient care, managing a range of medical conditions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
You will play an integral role in delivering exceptional care to our hospitalized patients and contribute to the hospital’s commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities : Conduct thorough admissions evaluations, diagnose, and manage hospitalized patients. Develop and implement treatment plans, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients with diverse medical conditions.
Manage code blues, rapid responses, and other emergency situations. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, quality improvement initiatives, and department meetings.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation.
Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Participate in on-call rotations (if applicable). Requirements : California medical license.
Current DEA certification. Board Certification : American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) ACLS / BLS Certification Excellent clinical and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Previous experience as a hospitalist is preferred. Powered by JazzHR
