Alternative data platform is seeking a Technical Customer Success Manager. The role requires both data analysis experience (SQL, light Python) and experience interfacing with buy side investment and data team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a team that interfaces with PMs, Analysts, and Data team members to explain product offerings and serve as an industry and subject-matter expert
- Coordinate with data and investment teams to understand their research process and how data can support their research processes
- Drive consumption of the platform through knowledge of the investment data ecosystem, client discovery, and platform customization
- Work with existing and new data sets to push ideas to investment teams
- Collaborating with product and engineering teams for collection of data, product features, and client customization
- Providing guidance to junior team members to further develop and hone their skills
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline
- 6-10 years of experience at the intersection of data and investing
- Proactive and solutions-oriented; innovative and results-driven mindset
- Experience interfacing with and being influential to investment and data team members
- Knowledge of the alternative data ecosystem and data providers
- Experience working with large data sets, both structured and unstructured
- Working experience with SQL, Python, and Excel
- Exceptional communication skills
This position is 4 days / week in Manhattan.
