Audit, Senior

• IFG Pittsburgh is actively recruiting an Audit Senior where you will have the opportunity to play a key role in delivering best-in-class attest services to our clients by communicating critical information to executive members of the engagement team;
• assisting in the planning, preparation and completion of risk-based audits including preparation of financial statements;

identifying and surfacing opportunities to provide value-added accounting advisory services; as well as the professional development of staff through multiple touchpoints and interactions with managers and shareholders.

Responsibilities of the Audit, Senior

• Lead financial statement audits, review and compilations in a variety of client industries.
• Perform and document audit procedures over complex areas of accounting.
• Proactively interact with client's key management to gather information, resolve problems and make recommendations for business and process improvements.
• Perform updates with managers and / or shareholders on engagement-related topics.
• Research and analyze accounting and audit-related issues.
• Utilize data extraction, data analytics and data visualization tools to bring insight to clients.
• Supervise, train and mentor staff and interns on audit processes.

Requirements of the Audit, Senior

• A Bachelor degree in accounting or finance required
• Current CPA or CPA license eligibility with a desire to become certified
• 1+ years of audit experience, preferable in public accounting
• Experience with coordination and execution of audits
• Highly motivated self-starter with ability to prioritize tasks and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines
• Data extraction, data analytics and data visualization presentation experience
• Strong leadership, training and mentoring skills
