Finance Administrator – Behavioral Health Practice

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Administrator to support the day-to-day financial operations of our behavioral health practice. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys managing accounting tasks and a great opportunity for someone with prior healthcare bookkeeping experience.

Need to know information :

  • Pay range between $70,000 - $80,000
  • Full time hours Monday-Friday

    On-site in Needham, MA

    Responsibilities Include :

  • Manage daily financial operations, including bookkeeping, invoicing, bill payments, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the practice.

    Support budgeting and reporting needs, helping to ensure smooth financial workflows.

    Collaborate with clinicians, administrative staff, and leadership to streamline processes and resolve issues.

    Assist with vendor management, payroll support, and other finance-related administrative tasks as needed.

    Required Experience and Skills :

  • 5+ years of experience with bookkeeping, accounting, or financial operations within a healthcare practice or healthcare / medical environment
  • High proficiency using QuickBooks desktop version

    Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to handle multiple tasks accurately.

    Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills to work effectively across teams.

    High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy and compliance.

    Preferred Experience and skills :

  • Any experience within a behavioral, mental health, or neuropsychological practice
  • Familiarity with HR processes such as credentialing, onboarding, compliance, and benefits management
