ABOUT THE ROLE

• Adhere to all SAFETY, ENVIRONMENTAL AND COMPLIANCE POLICIES
• General Laboring (carrying, lifting parts and tools, cleaning)
• Participates in mechanical maintenance activities that may require the use of operating hand tools and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment as required; determine when equipment is in need of repair and inform appropriate authorities.
• Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include heat, rain and dust.
• Must be able to switch from days to night with little notice
• Willingness to work required overtime as needed
• Must be on time and work in a team environment

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Experienced welder / fabricator (preferred)
• Experience using hand tools (Drills, pneumatic powered tools, hammers, wrenches)
• Ability to read measuring tools
• Understand Basic mathematics
• Good communication skills / someone who can work in a team environment
• Ability to diagnose problems with plant / site equipment
• MA Hoisting License (Skid Steer, BobCat, Man-Lift operator) (preferred) If you have the required qualifications and wish to be considered for this position, please submit your resume.

Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators.

Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
