This position is ONSITE in Green Cove Springs, FL
Responsibilities :
- Work directly with engineers to produce drawings from sketches, existing drawings, and electronic images.
- Preparation of accurate 3D solid models in Autodesk Inventor . Preparation of Bill of Materials.
- Support on Processing Engineering Change Order (ECO) using Autodesk Vault Professional .
- Devise new design solutions to problems encountered.
- Assist On-Going Product Improvement team with Daily designs per Customer.
- Assist Product Development Team with New designs concepts needed to assist build new product.
Required Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- 0-3 Years of working experience in design of Heavy-Duty Equipment.
- Ability to read Electrical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic schematics.
- Knowledge of 3D solid modeling, Autodesk Inventor and Vault Professional preferred
- Skilled in working with
- Knowledge of sheet metal design, water piping and hose routing.
- Basic knowledge of steel and aluminum manufacturing processes, sheet metal fabrication, machining, and welding
- Preferred Knowledge of Parametric modeling this would include something akin to iAssemblies, iParts, Factories....the ability to drive a model dimension through a parameter or a logical statement.
- GD&T (Geometric dimensioning & tolerancing)
- Knowledge of FEA will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems for mobile equipment is a plus.
