Soliant Education is seeking a passionate and experienced School Nurse (RN) to join our team in New Jersey. As a School Nurse, you will play a crucial role in promoting the health and well-being of students, providing medical care, and supporting a safe and healthy school environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid, medication administration, and management of chronic health conditions.
- Conduct health assessments and screenings to identify health concerns and provide appropriate referrals.
- Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with specific medical needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address health-related issues and ensure a healthy school environment.
- Monitor and manage municable diseases, ensuring pliance with state and federal health regulations.
- Provide health education to students, staff, and families on topics such as nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student health records in pliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in IEP and 504 meetings, providing input on health-related acmodations and services.
Qualifications :
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey.
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience working as a School Nurse or in pediatric nursing is highly preferred.
- Strong clinical skills, with the ability to respond to medical emergencies and manage chronic health conditions.
- Excellent munication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
