Basic Qualifications
- Systems Engineer : Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience, Master’s degree with 0 years of experience (maximum of 5 years’ experience) in a STEM related field.
- Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DOD Secret Clearance
- Experience writing clear and executable work instructions
- Proven experience in process improvement
- Experience presenting technical information to customers
- Exposure to some, or all, of the following SW products : SAP HANA, Jira, Tableau, and Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills on either software or hardware issues
- Demonstrated communication skills (both written and verbal),
- Experience working in a collaboratively, multi-disciplined team environment.
- Ability to interpret system drawings and wiring diagrams
- Must be able to support an in-person / closed-area work environment.
- Must be able to travel occasionally to support events at GMD sites
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional experience with weapon systems platforms and sustainment of mission critical systems
- Experience troubleshooting both hardware and software issues
- Experience in Agile Scrum team development environments
- Experience with Tableau or similar data analysis tools
- Experience working across disciplines including :
- Systems Engineering
- Integration & Test (I&T)
- Modeling, Simulation, & Analysis
- Hardware (HW), Software (SW), Firmware (FW), and their integration
- 2+ years experience working with Department of Defense (DOD) contracts
- Experience with Engineering Bills of Materials (EBOMs) and Indentured Parts Lists (IPLs) for obsolescence analysis
Description : As a Systems Engineer, you will work in a collaborative environment resolving reported operational issues. You will act as the interface between the client and the operational sites, providing engineering resolutions and site work instructions, and coordinating long-term solutions to reported issues.
You will be required to analyze data and present status and problem resolutions to the customer.
