Key Responsibilities :
- Leadership of Global Teams : As the operational leader for External Manufacturing API, you will lead and inspire global teams, facilitating collaboration and knowledge sharing across regional operating resources, and driving a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Technical Expertise in API Categories : Leverage your deep technical expertise in API manufacturing operations to shape procurement strategies, ensure supply assurance, and drive business continuity within the API category.
- Portfolio & Project Management : Take charge of the successful development and execution of the global API category, ensuring technical compliance, and leveraging your expertise to navigate the complexities of API manufacturing operations.
- Strategy Creation and Implementation : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative strategies that align with our diversity goals, while integrating technical expertise within API categories to ensure a competitive advantage.
- Continuous Improvement : Lead efforts in driving continuous improvement, leveraging your technical expertise to ensure that supplier relationships are optimized for cost reductions and performance improvements.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering, Science, or Business fields
- At least ten (10) years of combined experience in API manufacturing operations, strategic sourcing & procurement, or supply chain within the pharmaceutical / healthcare industry
- Experience as a people manager with global organizational leadership responsibilities
- Living in Europe with a willingness to travel up to 50% globally
Preferred Qualifications :
- Post-graduate degree in business (MBA), supply chain management, engineering, or technical fields
- Relevant industry certifications such as CPSM, CPM, CSCP, or PMP
