About The Position
Job Title : Ultrasound Technologist Job Specialty : General (Abdominal / Obstetric) and Small Parts, Echo Technologist Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Monday-Friday, five 8-hour day shifts, minimal call Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 3 years License : ARDMS certification required Certifications : Current BLS certification required Must-Have : Proof of negative TB test within the past 24 months Job Description : Perform diagnostic imaging using ultrasound equipment for abdominal, obstetric, and small parts examinations.
- Conduct echocardiograms, adhering to established protocols and procedures.- Collaborate with medical professionals to interpret and discuss test results.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring regular maintenance and calibration of equipment.- Exhibit strong communication skills with patients to explain procedures and provide comfort.
- Participate in shared call rotations as scheduled.- Fluoroscopy experience is preferred.- Opportunities for longer contract duration are negotiable.
- Potential availability of a furnished apartment, including utilities and WiFi, for interested candidates. Please note, holiday coverage is not required for this position.
