Qualifications :
- Graduate of an accredited college with an A.S. in Physical Therapist Assistant recognized by the APTA
- Must hold a current license and / or registration as a Physical Therapist Assistant
Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT according to state practice guidelines
- Assist PT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab accordingly
- Document patient's progress and ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertifications, and discharges
