As a Community Pharmacy Technician , you'll be responsible for answering incoming calls and completing outbound calls to / from patients, physicians and pharmacists while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximized productivity.

Work Location : 650 North Nellis Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89110

Schedule : Monday - Friday. 8hr shift between 8 : 00am - 7 : 00pm PST

Primary Responsibilities :

• Enter prescriptions and verifying appropriate information
• Contacting patients, pharmacists and doctor’s offices to resolve claims issues
• Process prescriptions (from intake to order completion)
• Resolve customer issues; ensuring accurate information is provided
• Consistently meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards while maintaining a good attendance record
• Fulfillment of prescription orders
• Ability to interpret prescription orders and enter into pharmacy system
• Answering the telephone utilizing appropriate etiquette
• Documenting interventions and tracking outcomes with Pharmacy team
• Resolving customer issues; ensuring accurate information is provided

Required Qualifications :

• High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the state of Nevada
• 2+ years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician including insurance claims processing, rejection, and resolution , and knowledge of laws and regulations in regards to scope of practice
• Intermediate level of proficiency with computers using Windows PC applications, including the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
• Able to stand for entire shift (8 hours)
• Able to wear mask for duration of shift, if required

Nevada Residents Only : The salary range for Nevada residents is $16.00 to $28.27. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
