We are seeking a highly skilled Copywriter with public sector experience to join our team to help position the company for current and upcoming growth.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and enhance content for various projects, including press releases, pitch decks, and presentations.
  • Establish a unified company voice by working collaboratively across departments.
  • Create compelling content by initiating stakeholder engagement, extracting key messages, collecting information, clarifying requirements, and integrating feedback, frequently within strict timeframes.
  • Create powerful and persuasive copy that complements visual content and drives investor engagement, confidence, and brand recognition.
  • Develop and fine-tune top-tier Corporate Messaging to bolster strategic narratives and propel the brand story : encompassing client communications, key company talking points, and comprehensive company overviews.
  • Maintain the brand voice, tone, and target audience while remaining updated on industry trends and best practices in copywriting.
  • Compose and refine press releases, articles, and other communication materials and guarantee uniform messaging across different platforms.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with various media outlets. Proactively pitch content and coordinate media coverage.
  • Coordinate and facilitate PR activities for company events and investor relations activities. Organize and manage press conferences and media briefings.
  • Create and execute news releases in various municipalities. Oversee distribution and deliver comprehensive reports on results.
  • Research and showcase the company for potential awards and honors.

Who You Are :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field highly preferred.
  • Proven capability in writing and editing with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proven success in copywriting for the public sector.
  • Excel in navigating changing deadlines within a fast-paced environment, equipped with strong project management skills and the ability to lead projects from concept to completion effectively.
  • Strong business writing and editing skills with experience in the public sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Public Relations, encompassing strategic and tactical content development and campaign management.
  • Proven track record of successfully pitching engaging content to a wide array of media outlets.
  • Thorough comprehension of media tools and strategies, including media databases.
  • Robust organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player who is comfortable working collaboratively with every department in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to synthesize and digest dense data to communicate succinct ideas.

Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, kneel, walk, balance, reach with hands and arms, use fingers and wrists, and talk and hear.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.

Pay : $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
