Web Tools Developer - Security Clearance Required

Amentum is seeking an experienced Web Tools Developer supporting the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) with the development and maintenance of web-based tools and applications.

The successful candidate will work closely with program staff and leadership to develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance program operations.

HIRING SALARY RANGE : $100,000 - $150.000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)

Responsibilities :

Design, develop, test and maintain web-based tools and applications in support of PEO IWS.

Collaborate with program staff and leadership to identify and address user needs and requirements.

Maintain and enhance existing web-based applications, ensuring that they remain current and responsive to user needs.

Utilize modern web development tools and technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, React, and Angular to create user-friendly web interfaces.

Collaborate with other members of the development team to ensure compatibility and integration with other software systems.

Provide technical guidance and support to program staff and leadership on web development issues.

Participate in the development and implementation of web development best practices and standards.

Adhere to software development life cycle processes and procedures, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, tools, and technologies related to web development.

Minimum Requirements and Skills :

Graduate degree from accredited University

In Lieu of Graduate degree, High School diploma and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Minimum of 10 years of experience

Experience with modern web development frameworks

Experience with web development.

Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.

Ability to support and improve corporate or organization data / information strategy

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Position is designated as a Cyber IT / Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) position with certification for 632 - System Developer Advanced

Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note : US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications :

Active Secret Clearance

Experience with high-level digital transformation strategy and execution, to include both hardware and software

Experience with Department of the Navy

Experience with NAVSEA 03
