Full-Time Faculty Member
Department of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery
The University of Maryland, Department of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery, is seeking applications for a full-time faculty member at the rank of Clinical Instructor or Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery.
Responsibilities include academic and clinical teaching at undergraduate and residency levels, supervision of dental students, and care of patients in the Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic, and the Acute Care Clinic at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic at University of Maryland Medical Center.
A DDS, DMD, or equivalent degree and eligibility for licensure to practice dentistry in Maryland, is required. Possession of or eligibility for a class III anesthesia permit in the State of Maryland is highly desirable.
Candidates must have completed a residency in Oral Surgery / Oral-Maxillofacial surgery, and experience in undergraduate / postgraduate teaching is an advantage.
