POSITION PURPOSE : We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Accounting and Finance team in Skokie, IL. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in a career in accounting and wants to join an organization that will provide opportunities for growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparation of variance analysis on monthly financial statements
- Assist in the month end close, including preparation of journal entries
- Preparation of bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist in the year-end process such as gathering data for Cost reports and further analyzing balance sheets for accuracy
- Review AP invoices to ensure payment and coding accuracy
- Ad hoc projects as needed
