Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience : Design, integration, or testing of space hardware.
Skills : Proficient in 3D CAD software (preferably SolidWorks) and thermal analysis tools (e.g., Thermal Desktop).
Manufacturing Knowledge : Familiarity with fabrication methods and machine shop experience preferred.
Technical Proficiency : Competent with Windows / Mac OS and Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word).
Hands-On Experience : Desired with hardware / electronics integration.

Role Overview
As a Mechanical Engineer , you'll analyze, design, build, and enhance mechanical systems for nanosatellite communications payloads and testing equipment.
You’ll create mechanical models using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks), conduct various analyses (thermal, structural, vibration), and support integration and testing of critical hardware systems.
Core Responsibilities
Design & Modeling : Lead the design of spacecraft / payload hardware using SolidWorks.
Analysis : Perform thermal and structural analyses of space hardware.
Collaboration : Work closely with Electrical, RF, Software, and Systems teams.
Integration & Testing : Support spacecraft integration, testing, and delivery.
Testing Configurations : Design mechanical testing setups for in-lab and in-orbit performance.
Mechatronics : Conduct hands-on integration, assembly, and prototyping of hardware.
Documentation : Develop and maintain technical documentation for spacecraft design.
Teamwork : Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
