We offer full CSA services for Industrial & Commercial clients. We specialize in concrete, insulated metal panels, structural steel, drains, doors, and more.

Job Summary :

Steelworx Industrial Group is seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the commercial concrete industry with the ability to prep, place and finish concrete.

This role can be physically demanding and involves long hours of standing, squatting, and bending. Some travel may be required, and candidates must have their own transportation to commute to and from the job site.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

Finish / Prep Concrete Slabs :

• Set elevations, set forms, grading work
• Place concrete via ready mix truck, or pump truck
• Perform other concrete finishing tasks as needed.

Set Concrete Wall Forms :

• Install forms and rebar.
• Pour walls and strip forms.
• Install anchor bolts.

Handle Materials :

Ability to operate standard equipment used for material handling.

Perform Work Under Pressure :

Maintain quality and efficiency under tight deadlines.

Education & Skill Requirements :

• Minimum of 2 years of concrete work experience.
• Basic knowledge of common carpentry tools and their uses (e.g., hammer, saws).
• Ability to use tape measures and other measuring instruments to determine length, width, etc.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
• Team-oriented attitude.

Physical Demands :

• Climb and maintain balance.
• Fully utilize hands and arms; stand, kneel, bend, crawl, or crouch for extended periods.
• Have good vision (naturally or corrected).
• Ability to sit, stand, or walk continuously.
• Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs, and lift frequently.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work in hot or cold conditions, outdoors, and at high elevations.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
