We are seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our well-established cardiology service in Springfield, Missouri. The physician will become part of a growing team that currently includes six interventional and non-interventional cardiologists, two electrophysiologists, three Cardiothoracic Surgeons (CT Surgeons), and four Vascular Surgeons.
Opportunity Highlights :
- Supported by a team of 17 Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) providing outpatient support and 24 7 inpatient coverage
- Work from the main hospital of a six-hospital system, eliminating the need for travel
- Invasive Cardiologists perform over 4,700 cath lab procedures annually, including a robust structural program
- Responsibilities include outpatient clinic coverage and supporting our extensive cardiology program, performing and interpreting non-invasive cardiac imaging such as echocardiography and Nuclear Medicine
- Provide weekday inpatient coverage with 1 : 8 evening and weekend call rotation
- Optional research and teaching opportunities available with medical students and residents
