Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and proficiency in cardiac diagnostic and PCI procedures.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in an acute care hospital cardiac catheterization lab
  • Patient ratio is 3 : 1
  • Handles scrub and monitoring for cardiac diagnostic and PCI cases, with preference for structural heart experience
  • Uses Epic as the EMR and GE MacLab equipment
  • Shift is 4x10 hour day shifts, 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM
  • Every other weekend on-call required, with up to 2 on-call days per week
  • Floating within the service line and scope is required
  • Scrubs are provided
  • First-time travelers are accepted for this position
  • Pre-employment modules must be completed prior to start
  • No local candidates are accepted within a 75-mile radius
  • No more than 7 days of RTO allowed within a 13-week contract and none in the first week
  • Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
  • Team-based environment with floating required within the service line
  • Parking is free

  • Minimum of 2 years recent Cath Lab Tech experience
  • Active BLS and IEMA certification required
  • Proficiency in Epic EMR required
  • Experience in scrubbing and monitoring cardiac diagnostic and PCI cases required, structural heart experience preferred
  • License required if applicable
  • Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility
  • Willingness to complete fit testing without facial hair that interferes with testing
