General Responsibilities : Orders all isotopes as needed for studies which are pending. Maintains equipment and hot lab according to state and federal regulations.
Performs all QC procedures. Maintains radiation safety badges and logs. Cross-trained in other radiology modalities preferred.
Will also follow the principles and guidelines as set forth by the American College of Radiology. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Satisfactory completion of formal radiological training in an AMA-approved school of Nuclear Medicine. 3 years experience as a registered nuclear medicine technologist in an acute care hospital.
Preferably registered by and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and State License through the Florida Bureau of Radiation Control is mandatory.
Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS / CPR certification required. Venipuncture certification preferred.
Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills required. For more information,
