JobDescription :

We are seekinga highly skilled and dedicated Registered DietitianDiabetesEducator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensiveexperience in managing diabetes care including the adjustment ofinsulin and other medications.

This role requires a professionalwho is not only wellversed in nutritional counseling but alsocertified in diabetes education.

This is a remote position and youwill be required to visit with patients via Zoom orphone.

Responsibilities :

• Provide comprehensive diabetes education topatients including nutritional counseling and lifestylemanagement.
• Adjust insulin andother diabetes medications based on patient needs and clinicalguidelines.
• Develop individualizedcare plans to help patients manage their diabeteseffectively.
• Monitor patientprogress and make necessary adjustments to treatmentplans.
• Collaborate with healthcareproviders to ensure a coordinated approach to patientcare.
• Conduct group educationsessions and workshops as needed.
• Keep uptodate with the latest research and advancementsin diabetes care.

Requirements :

• Registered Dietitian (RD)credential.
• Certified DiabetesEducator (CDE) or Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist(CDCES) credential.
• Provenexperience in adjusting insulin and other diabetesmedications.
• Strong knowledge ofdiabetes management and nutrition.
• Excellent communication and interpersonalskills.
• Ability to workindependently and as part of a multidisciplinaryteam.
• Commitment to providinghighquality patient care.
• Must bewilling to acquire additional state licensure asneeded.

PreferredQualifications :

• Experience in a clinical setting.
• Advanced certification or additional training in diabetescare.
• Bilingual (English / Spanish)is a plus.
