The Sourcing Associate will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and sourcing potential acquisition targets. This role focuses on identifying attractive businesses through market research and industry analysis, then executing direct outreach to owners—often through cold calls, emails, and other channels—to build relationships and generate acquisition opportunities that align with the company’s strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and evaluate potential merger and acquisition opportunities through targeted outreach, networking, and relationship-building efforts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with business owners, entrepreneurs, intermediaries, and other deal sources to generate a consistent deal flow pipeline.
• Collaborate with the corporate development team to understand strategic priorities and develop targeted outreach strategies to source actionable deal opportunities.
• Track and manage deal pipeline activity, including maintaining databases, tracking interactions, and updating deal status reports.
• Prepare and present deal sourcing updates and recommendations to the corporate development leads.

Desired Experience and Qualifications

The annual salary range for this role is $70,000-$80,000 plus commission.
