Job Summary :
Are you a passionate sales professional experienced in clinical research seeking a new opportunity? IMA Clinical Research is actively seeking a proactive and results-oriented Director of Business Development to join our team.
This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work with occasional travel.
The ideal candidate should possess prior experience in business development, specifically within the field of clinical research.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the identification, cultivation, and maintenance of relationships with key decision-makers in pharmaceutical, biotechnological, and contract research organizations.
- Drive business growth by securing new opportunities in site-based, hybrid, and fully decentralized clinical trials.
- Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closure, meeting and exceeding assigned sales targets.
- Represent IMA Clinical Research at industry conferences and events, showcasing our offerings and expertise.
- Maintain accurate records using CRM tools and ensure client satisfaction through dedicated relationship management.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in sales within the clinical research field, demonstrating a successful track record of initiating and closing deals.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with the ability to identify leads and devise effective sales strategies to enhance success rates.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and CRM software.
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or a related field; equivalent and relevant qualifications considered.
- 1-2 years of experience in clinical research, site networks, CROs, pharmaceuticals, or related sales roles, equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this position.
