Patient Care Support Technician
Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Support Technician to provide essential support to our nursing team. Responsibilities include assisting with patient hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety, as well as accurately maintaining patient records and responding to patient needs.
This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage time effectively, and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
Job Qualifications
- Active certification as a Nurse Assistant
- CPR certification required, or willing to obtain within six months
- Previous experience in long-term care preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects and patients with proper techniques and assistance when necessary
- Manual dexterity and coordination when working with patients and equipment
- Visual acuity with the ability to distinguish color
