Job Description

Are you a seasoned Full-Stack Developer with a passion for crafting high-performance web solutions? Our firm is seeking a Lead Developer with deep expertise in PHP and React to join our innovative team.

In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in designing and building robust, scalable web applications for our diverse range of clients.

You will leverage your extensive experience to develop efficient PHP modules within established MVC frameworks, create responsive and interactive React components, and ensure seamless integration with custom CMS systems.

Your ability to collaborate with stakeholders, follow best practices, and deliver exceptional front-end experiences will drive the success of our projects and meet the high standards of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules within an established MVC framework and custom CMS system
• Build performant, responsive React components that provide interactivity for PHP modules
• Collaborate with the team members and stakeholders to understand requirements, communicate progress, and coordinate deployments
• Follow the industry's best practices and write clean and well-structured code
• Write and follow technical documentation, help estimate new initiatives
• Strictly follow internal conventions, code standards, and processes
• Resolve website performance issues
• Implement web application security considerations and best practices
• Coordinate with creative teams to build front end experiences that meet strict design requirements

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a full-stack Lead Developer, Senior Software Engineer, or related roles
• Excellent problem-solving and architectural experience
• Expert PHP skills, experience with Hack / HHVM / XHP is a plus
• Advanced knowledge of React, JavaScript, and CSS
• A passion for building web experiences that meet high standards for performance, responsiveness, and accessibility
• Experience working within large organizations
• Excellent attention to detail, follow-through, and time management
• Good understanding of GraphQL, asynchronous PHP, MVC frameworks

Additional Information

Compensation & Benefits

Associate Manager Level - New York & California base compensation for this opportunity ranges between $137,000 and $142,000.

Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and market location
