Financial Reporting Manager (Hybrid)

Our client is a mission-based non-profit that works to improve the conditions of inner-city youths!

The organization is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to lead the monthly and annual financial reporting, be the main point of contact with auditors, and supervise the Tax / Regulatory filing process.

Responsibilities :

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of general ledger accounting tasks
  • Prepare all financial reports, including monthly budget-to-actual comparisons and annual financial statements
  • Coordinate the annual audit process, collaborating with auditors and preparing necessary documentation
  • Assist in creating reports and presentations for management and trustee meetings
  • Supervise treasury operations, including cash flow projections, reconciliations, and risk management
  • Manage a team of three accounting professionals

Qualifications :

  • A recent background in Audit at a reputable public accounting firm
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting (a master’s degree in accounting, finance, or business is preferred)
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license is required
  • Experience in nonprofit or philanthropic sectors is advantageous but not a requirement
