Join our prestigious and talented Adult Emergency Department Nursing team and become a part of something bigger within the Johns Hopkins Health System at Howard County Medical Center!
Our medical center’s Adult Emergency Department has 52 beds, which includes 4 fast track beds, and 5 behavioral health beds.
Nurse / Patient ratios are 3 : 1 or 4 : 1. If you are looking to work in a community hospital ED, that utilizes Team Nursing, with a very stable nursing leadership team, and if you like working in a fast-paced environment, then we might be the right place for you.
ER nursing experience is a plus but not required.

Nursing requirements : At least 1 year recent acute care experience and Associates Degree in nursing from an accredited school.
Active RN license required.
HOURS : Weekends, 24 hours per week, 12 hour nights
Salary Range : Minimum 36.05 per hour - Maximum 56.18 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
