Lockheed Martin Corporation's Rotary & Mission Systems (RMS) business is in search of an astute college intern to join our team.

This role offers an exciting gateway opportunity to gain valuable experience with a top-tier employer known throughout the world for its engineering prowess and its game-changing product offerings and robust solutions.

Position Responsibilities performed under general supervision to complete milestones associated with specific projects :

• Integrate the Linux-Based tactical computers within the classified / unclassified computer program development and test environments.
• Integrate the computer systems, software, and network with the tactical applications.
• Maintain a multi-platform Linux knowledge base in support of leading-edge COTS software products and systems.
• Work as a team with system engineers, computer program developers, test engineers, and customer representatives to support COTS-based configurations in Moorestown, NJ and remote test and installation sites.
• Produce installation and configuration documentation for all supported COTS software and operating environments.
• Create / maintain automation tools in support of reproducible operating systems (Linux-Based).

Basic Qualifications :

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science from an accredited college in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science / Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or another related technical field.
• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired Skills :

Experience with Linux / Unix based systems.

Security Clearance Statement : This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level : Secret

Ability to Work Remotely : Onsite Full-time : The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
