Job Details

Responsibilities :

1. Manage and oversee all preconstruction phases of projects, ensuring that all aspects are conducted in a timely and efficient manner.

2. Develop and present comprehensive, accurate, and well-defined budgets and estimates.

3. Collaborate closely with project teams, architects, and clients to ensure that project goals are met.

4. Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

5. Conduct detailed analysis of drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.

6. Review and evaluate cost estimates to ensure accuracy and completeness.

7. Participate in the negotiation and awarding of contracts.

8. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of construction market trends and pricing strategies.

9. Provide guidance and support to junior team members and foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

2. Minimum of three years of experience in commercial construction - K1 and higher Education experience required.

3. Proven experience in managing all phases of the preconstruction process, including budgeting, scheduling, and planning.

4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors.

5. Strong analytical skills, with a proven ability to identify and solve problems.

6. Knowledge of construction market trends and pricing strategies.

7. Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to guide and support junior team members.

8. Proficiency in construction software and tools.

9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

10. Detail-oriented and organized, with a keen eye for accuracy and completeness.
