The Office Manager (OM) is responsible for assisting in the Human Resources, Residential, Medical and Finance departments.
Office Manager's (OM) Compensation and Benefits :
- Pay Rate : $18.00 - $20.00 hourly DOE Full Time
- Working Days : Monday - Friday : 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pm

Office Manager's (OM) Job Responsibilities :
- Answer telephone; take inquiries or messages utilizing good telephone technique.
- Respond promptly and courteously to all phone calls and emails.
- Assist with marketing and public relations efforts.
- Promote the agency services in the community.
- Knowledgeable in the agency service lines and client base.
- Protect all company records and property.
- Participate in educational opportunities as available.
- Represent agency at community functions and professional organizations.
- Perform Postal mail activities, if required
- Other general office and clerical functions.
- Assist with recruiting, associate hiring, orientations, in-services, disciplinary actions, etc.
- Assist with organizing and participating in job fairs, networking with local colleges and creating opportunities to recruit applicants.
- Conduct pre-screening interviews to ensure a "good fit" with the agency and the person served.
- Assist with new hire orientation.
- Assist and implement employee appreciation projects.
- Assist with the implementation of Person-Centered Supported Plans (PCSP)
- Assist in building a support network between the service recipient, family members, and the community.
- Assist with maintain health services supply inventory
- Advocates for service recipients with intellectual and developmental disabilities health concerns.
- Administer medication(s), when needed and complete appropriate documentation.
- Accompany individuals to and from appointments and activities, when needed.
- Foster a meaningful relationship between the individuals and their community.
- Assist with the implementation of Person-Centered Supported Plans (PCSP)
- Work as a caregiver in case of staffing emergency.
- Ensure that all weekly and monthly documentation is completed properly and timely.
- Ensure that all team members assist each person supported in completing all aspects of the Individual Support Plan (ISP).
- Perform payroll duties including verifying time sheets.
- Promotes maximum independence among clients served by working with each individual to ensure personal budget compliance and providing funds as requested / guided.
- Reports financial variances and any documentation concerns as needed and addresses and corrects those concerns with the appropriate team member as needed.
- Coach and mentor support staff on personal financial accounting for individuals with developmental intellectual disabilities (clients served);
attend and participate in meetings as needed
Communicate continually with administrative staff.
Office Manager's (OM) Skills :
- Prior knowledge of HR concepts and terminology is preferred but not required.
- Must be flexible, work well under pressure, and have the ability to readily adapt to change.
- Able to manage multiple priorities, think tactically and strategically, demonstrate objectivity, be results-oriented, and show initiative and creativity.
- Proficient use of a computer
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Office Manager's (OM) Qualifications :
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid Driver's License
- Valid Car Insurance
- I9 Identification (Social Security Card, Passport, etc.)
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
Education :
- Required : HS Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred : Associate's degree
Experience :
- 1 year of Customer Service Experience
- 1 year of Staffing Experience
- 1 year of Management Experience
