This is a beautiful hotel with an award-winning record of accomplishment. We have a well-tenured management team, which runs this very busy hotel and convention center in an exceptional manner with high standards, expectations, and strong results orientation.
Our beautiful hotel is 300 suites, with 40,000 sq. ft. of meeting, pre-function, and event space and includes a restaurant, lounge, and gift shop market.
The Assistant Front Desk Manager will assist in overseeing and supporting the operations of the front desk to include MOD (manager on duty) duties.
Additional responsibilities include :
- Create a positive guest experience (and associate experience) by being professional and courteous at all times
- Create a positive work environment by maintaining and encouraging positive associate morale
- Be aware of hotel activities pertaining to conventions, functions, meetings, groups, etc.
- Conduct regular walks of the property reporting any issues or concerns which may need immediate attention
- Assist in making decisions on necessary medical treatment and routing guests to appropriate medical facilities
- Knowledge of emergency procedures and the role of the Asst Front Desk Manager during an emergency
- Be proactive for upcoming shift by taking ownership, performing any necessary follow up, and observing staffing levels
- Maintain accurate money bank at all times immediately reporting any concerns to accounting
- Assist in training & development of associates, to include proper coaching and counseling
- Maintain and adhere to the company values
- Assist with additional duties as requested by management
- Ability to work a variety of shifts and additional time when business levels dictate
