Assistant Manager of Luxury Retail Boutiques

The Retail Assistant Manager role is afulltime management position responsible for all aspects ofmanaging retail stores on property.

Accountable to delivering salesplan through effective management / delegation of store andoperational tasks. Retail Assistant Manager reports to the RetailManager while supervising sales leadership team and store salesassociates.

Summary ofResponsibilities :

Reporting tothe Retail Manager responsibilities and essential job functionsinclude but are not limited to thefollowing :

Building High PerformingTeams :

  • Attract hiredevelop inspire and retain top talent
  • Coachdevelop to maximize the success and selling potential of all salesassociates
  • Set and reinforce clear and alignedexpectations performance results and accountability with allassociates
  • Effectively and fairly manage anddrive high performance of all associates in all boutiques shops onproperty
  • Ensure onboarding and continuedtraining of the associate team in all boutiques shops onproperty
  • Positively communicate personal andoutlet sales goals (Budget Average Daily Sales Units PerTransaction Employment Engagement Survey) promotions and incentivestoteam.

Selling Effectiveness :

  • Analyze the businessand create / communicate clear action plans that optimize results andensure effective execution of allinitiatives
  • Ensure team communication;reinforcing that retail leadership at every level are focused andaccountable to selling
  • Develop and grow ahighly satisfied and loyal customer base through team follow up andaccountability
  • Develop and drive companyselling strategies that will be implemented by the retailleadership team
  • Develop shopping experienceinitiatives in all boutiques shops onproperty
  • Implement company selling strategiesin all boutiques shops onproperty

  • Execute updatedfloor sets and product change over in outlets based on needs of thebusiness and seasonal periods.
  • Act as manageron duty when scheduled to address customer service vendor concerns maintenance issues
  • Partner with thesales lead team to support action plans that optimize results andensure effective execution of operationalinitiatives
  • Accountability of all policies andprocedures in all boutiques shops onproperty
  • Incorporate Loss Prevention and safetymessages into daily operations
  • Maintain OSHArequirements to ensure the outlets are a safe working and shoppingenvironment.

Weekly Meetings& Tasks

  • Prepareagenda and facilitate weekly retail leadsmeeting
  • Review and submit weekly buyers reportsfor all shops Retail Manager to approve Retail leads follow up andaccountability
  • Weekly direct report one on onemeetings
  • Weekly one on one with RetailManager
  • Attend and present division update inweekly OPS meeting with Retail Manager
  • Reviewand submit retail commissions
  • Review and submitStarbucks Hours for Gratuity
  • Review and submitbiweekly Timesaver reports to Payroll Retail Manager toapprove

MonthlyMeetings &Tasks

  • Prepare andfacilitate monthly P&L review
  • PrepareP&L commentary and review with RetailManager
  • Create schedule and execute internalhealth inspections with RetailSupervisor
  • Create and distribute Monthly BudgetCalendars
  • Execute monthly shop inventories inpartnership with Retail StoreroomManager

QuarterlyMeetings &Tasks

  • Create andschedule quarterly shop deep cleaning
  • ReviewTeam training needs developing trainingprograms

AnnualMeetings &Tasks

  • Submit Retailleads reviews / developmental plans Retail Manager toApprove
  • Ensure completion of all shops hourlyreviews and development plans Retail manager toApprove

Other OperatingPurchase Requests & Approvals

  • Assistant RetailManagers to submit purchase request to Retail Manager to reviewwith Director of Retail
  • Purchase requests areapproved by Director ofRetail

Qualifications :

  • 3 Years RetailSales Management Experience
  • Must be fluent inTimesaver Excel Word Power Point PublisherPOS
  • Must have Maricopa County Food HandlersCard and AZ Liquor Server Certification
  • Provenability to drive sales results through a strong level of businessacumen
  • Demonstrated success in talentdevelopment / management
  • Strong communicationskills and ability to foster a customer focused sellingculture
  • Availability for varied weekly shiftsincluding weekend closing and peakshifts
