  • Nursing Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1780–$1910\n
  • Patient Ratios : 1 : 2\n
  • Unit Census : Average 6 patients\n
  • Weekend Coverage : Required\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Tennessee RN license or multi-state compact nursing license\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby nursing experience\n
  • Required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP, CPI (or MAB), NIHSS\n
  • Experience with circulating and triage preferred\n
  • Comfortable providing care to prison population\n
  • COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical / religious exemptions accepted)\n
  • First-time travel nurses and local Tennessee candidates encouraged to apply\n

    • \n\nLabor & Delivery RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby units\n
  • Float between L&D and Mother Baby units as needed\n
  • Circulate in the operating room and triage incoming patients\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services\n
  • Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population, including prison population\n
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold hospital compliance standards\n
  • Complete orientation and required healthcare modules prior to start\n
