IL/UO/33985 Japanese / English Sales Engineer/ Account Manager

An international robotics manufacturer in the Elk grove Village, IL area is currently searching for a full-time Junior Level ( Japanese / English ) Sales Engineer / Account Manager to join the team.

This is a full-time, direct hired, and hybrid position.Responsibilities for Junior Level ( Japanese / English ) Sales Engineer / Account ManagerIdentify new business development opportunities, and establish relationships with potential customers within assigned sales territoryInterface with customers and clients regarding product issues, quality assurance, questions, etc.

Collaboration with the sales teams and the clients in regards to market analysis, product planning, and expected demandProduct proposal preparation and deliveryCreate price quotations and negotiate price / costs with customers;

secure product orders and follow up on tracking and deliveryWork with management and other sales employees to develop sales goals, department process improvement, objectives, etc.

Frequent communication with parent company overseasOccasional business travel as requiredOther duties as assigned by Sales ManagerRequirements for Junior Level ( Japanese / English ) Sales Engineer / Account ManagerMinimum 5 years’ sales / account management experience in a manufacturing environment preferredBachelor’s degree in the Engineering or related field preferred OR equivalent work experienceStrong business development and sales prospect conversion abilitiesStrong communication skills in both English and JapaneseAbility to prioritize tasks and good organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsThis position includes working in a manufacturing and / or warehousing work environment.

While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts / equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
