One of the largest and fastest growing providers of commercial Building Automation Controls, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) services in the US is seeking a Senior Sales Executive in the greater Charlotte area.
The company creates value by partnering with established local businesses, allowing owner-operators to operate independently while providing resources and assistance to grow revenue and increase profitability.
Compensation commensurate with experience, with a base range of $120K-$140K and projected OTE of $175K+.
The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for managing a sales territory and creating new accounts for a partner in the Charlotte area.
You will attract new clients by establishing and retaining the relationship, identifying, and meeting all their HVAC and Building Automation Service needs.
Proven track record in commercial or industrial owner direct service sales required.
Key Deliverables :
- Develop and maintain strategic long-term relationships with high volume customers to accomplish organic growth and long-term company objectives.
- Deliver new customers to achieve organizational and revenue objectives.
- Focus on bringing in new accounts by selling HVAC and Building Automation projects, service work, and maintenance agreements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop a thorough understanding of the customers’ position in the market, their product / service, points of difference and competitive landscape.
- Manage customer input and feedback for all projects with detailed direction and timelines.
- Manage RFP proposals to deliver wins.
- Facilitate execution as a strategic orchestrator, ensuring delivery on the promises made, and the results customers expect.
- Establish and build strong working relationships with business leaders at all levels.
- Manage day-to-day customer communication and ongoing relationships as it relates to current, new, and upcoming projects.
- As necessary, visit customers, attend trade shows and other industry events to capitalize on networking and relationship-building opportunities.
- Proactively remain connected to customers and the ever-changing market to access new search opportunities and ensure all viable customers are engaged on a regular and effective basis.
- Influence customers to make the right business decision by persuading collaboratively and by helping them see the financial and non-financial impact of their decisions to their organizations.
Skills and Experience :
- BA in business administration, or similar relevant field experience.
- 5+ years of commercial or industrial direct sales / service sales experience in the HVAC or related industries.
- Demonstrable sales results and an established book of business desired.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent networking and relationship building skills.
- Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines.
- Problem-solving and negotiation aptitude.
- Proven ability to contribute in a fast-paced environment consistently and positively.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customer leaders of all levels (C-level down to entry-level support roles).
- Ability to work independently and manage personal time, keeping deliverables and deadlines top of mind.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
- Strong writing, phone, and presentation skills.
- Salesforce experience preferred.
