About The Position

Job Summary :

Medadventures is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at a skilled nursing facility.

In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat residents with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. If you are passionate about helping patients improve their communication and quality of life, this is the perfect opportunity for you.Key Responsibilities :

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in residents.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
• Provide speech therapy services, including exercises, techniques, and alternative communication strategies.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate residents and their families on treatment strategies and home exercises.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, evaluations, and treatment plans.
• Participate in care conferences and provide input on patient care plans.

Qualifications :

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
